Stephan Curry's Splash Studio was an online video mixer that I helped create as part of a contest to promote Brita on their website. I edited the five video templates for the project and Stephan's version of the commercial, animated and created effects on a number of sequences, and output a total of 245 final assets including desktop, mobile, color, and black and white versions of all the clips.
One of the challenges of this project was that the final color graded and effected commercial shots were being created simultaneously, so I set up my sequences in a way that the entire set of video mixer assets could be output, compressed, and uploaded within hours of receiving the final footage.
Early in the project, I created a comprehensive spreadsheet with thumbnails, file names, and sections to track progress on all shots. It ended up being an integral checklist that the producer and referred to daily to track our progress.
The commercial footage was produced by DDB, and these assets were used in the intro, end card, and for one of the Stephen in Action videos.
